PayPal - A nightmare to Indian users
Few months ago all the withdrawals from PayPal were blocked. Unfortunately they had imposed this after we made a withdrawal. So we couldn't get our funds either on the bank account or back on PayPal so we could use them to make some payments at least. Almost after a month the problem was sorted and we got our money on our bank account. They then made it clear that Indian users are not allowed to make any payments with the PayPal fund, but can only withdraw.
This morning we were shocked to see that PayPal was going to stop electronic withdrawals and only allow cheques. Now this is a pain to all Indian users, we are sure. Processing of checks take 4-6 days and that doesn't include the time to deliver the cheque. Clearing takes yet another "age". With all these problems, we are not sure how PayPal will survive in India. We can now only hope PayPal will sort everything very soon with the Reserve Bank of India.

Indian users are now quick to withdraw funds to their bank account before the option is disabled on the 29th.
